Week 3 - PowerPoint Publishing Magazine

On Tuesday's afternoon session I was creating my power point and refining my skills profile. In this lesson I was improving in visually presenting  my power point to my audience. So that there isn't too much text and more enlarged pictures to show.

In wednesday's morning session, I finished off my powerpoint. After I had done this, I started to experiment using my techniques from  my research.  I did this so that it would help me to practise my techinques and use these techinques effectively when it comes to designing my arts & creative magazine.  Here are some of the Images which I created;

Below are the original Images;

As you can see the Images are manipulated using simple tools such as the gradient bucket, sharpen tool and the blur tool. These tools transformed the image into quite an abstract Image which made it stand out. Other tools which I have used are halftone colour which basically messes up colour palete and creates some weird funny patterns.

In Harrys Afternoon session, I finished off my power point presentation  and started to practise it in the lecture theatre. I was fairly confident while I was practising my pitch. However, students in my class found that I was going on a bit which meant needed to get straight to the point.  There were also some things on my power point presentation which needed to be changed, so that the audience could read my text on my power point. For the rest of the lesson I was continuing with experimenting my techniques in photo shop.

On Friday, In Andy's morning session and Simon's afternoon session we were presenting our pitch to our clients. In my pitch I felt that it went well because was confident and managed to get all the main points of idea to my clients. After I had completed my pitch, I was watching everyone else's pitches. I found this useful as I could compare mine to others.
